![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Never even thought, or heard of people using baby wipes before. That's new to me. I can't think of any harm it would cause, but not sure how good they'll sanitize things either. Being made for a babies butt, they're sure to be intentionally mild, wouldn't they?

I dont see any real harm as most of the wipes sold have no harsh chemicals, they are mostly water and lotion.
The only thing I would be concerned with is the Disinfecting ability of the wipes solution. There is a big difference between baby wipes and disinfecting wipes

I can't see an harm in using them, but I can't see any practical reason why you'd want to. Depending on the brand, they may have a tiny bit of alcohol in them, but they're basically useless in terms of disinfecting. And they really don't have enough moisture in them to be especially useful in cleaning any dried on gunk.
If someone gave me a bunch for free, and I didn't have another use for them, I'd probably use them to clean cages as well. But if I was paying for them, I'd stick with chlorehexidine and paper towels. Last edited by monkeywrench133; 07-18-2010 at 08:34 AM. |

I see no harm using them like that when you plan on using another solution for final clean up
